Occupy Biennale
Indignadxs/Occupy were invited by the directors/curators of the 7th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art (April 27 – July 1, 2012) to participate. They soon realised, however, that their allocated curated space turned them into a spectacle, a “human zoo”. Drawing on art action precedents to critique this institutional trap, they employed web-based communiqués, blog formats and direct interventions as radical resistance.
