Okwui Enwezor

Okwui Enwezor was celebrated as one of the most influential post-colonial curators and directors of biennales. Before being the curator of the second International Biennial of Contemporary Art of Seville (BIACS 2, October 26, 2006 – January 15, 2007), he was the artistic director of documenta 11, (Kassel, June 8 – September 15, 2002), making him the first non-European to be appointed.
