A reprint of the text, as a satirical libel, written and published by Spanish artist Antonio Saura in conjunction with Guernica's arrival in Madrid in 1981 and the subsequent controversy that surfaced around its transfer to the Museo Reina Sofía in 1992. Antonio Saura rails at the "demented screams" of politicians, journalists, art critics and museum conservators in a satirical libel which analyses this polymorphous agitation as machinery intended to fill the void of a culturally drained Spain. A social portrait of the prevailing culture-spectacle, from which the artist does not exclude himself. The preface is signed Félix de Azúa: "Reasons for hate, the injustice of love".
