Alfred H. Barr Jr.'s letter to Paul J. Sachs
Alfred H. Barr Jr., director of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, writes to Paul Sachs, director of the William Hayes Fogg Art Museum, from Harvard University, to thank him for the photographs of the exhibition Picasso: Forty Years of His Art. He also mentions that although he has asked him on more than one occasion if Guernica is for sale, given that the Second Republic in Spain no longer exists, Pablo Picasso never replies.
