Coffee table designed by Perriand for Jean-Richard Bloch, editor of the French communist newspaper Ce Soir. This table features four zinc etching plates, where Perriand printed two drawings from The Dream and Lie of Franco. This is an important artwork by Picasso, which denounced the dictator’s atrocities. It was published between January and June 1937. The table, now lost, was a statement of Perriand’s stance during her most politically active period. The image we see is a replica based on the original.
