Marcelino Oreja's letter to Manuel Clavero Arévalo

Marcelino Oreja, minister of Foreign Affairs, puts forward a recommendation to Manuel Clavero Arévalo, Culture minister, to create a commission of experts to analyse the location of Guernica . The letter, dated 4 December 1979, is enclosed with a letter to the director-general of Artistic Heritage, Archives and Museums, who replies that this does not fall under the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
