A letter from Margaret Potter, assistant to William Rubin, director of the Painting and Sculpture Department at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, urging Rubin to reply to the letter sent by the Spanish government concerning Guernica. She puts forward arguments in favour of it, for instance the fragile state of preservation of the painting, and asks who will bear the costs incurred from its transfer.
