Lars Rostrup Boyesen's letter to Pablo Picasso

Lars Rostrup Boyesen, director of the Statens Museum for Kunst, Copehagen, requests permission from Pablo Picasso to exhibit Guernica in view of the fact that the painting is currently in Stockholm, and to renew its 1938 visit alongside works by Braque, Matisse and Laurens. He confirms that he has already spoked to the Stockholm museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, which only leaves the artist’s consent.
